During Donald Trump's election campaign he often blamed Mexico for crimes committed in the U.S. saying, "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists." Since he has taken office his policies have lined up with that rhetoric by implementing stricter border security with more ICE officials and making deportation a top priority.
Now Trump is saying Hispanics will start "falling in love" with Republicans and him because Democrats are not doing enough to compromise on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) even though he was the one who ended DACA on September 5th.
The former businessman said he would give Congress six months to "legalize DACA," the Obama-era mandate allowed young undocumented people to receive lawful status (not citizenship), protecting almost 800,000 young people from deportation and allowing them to apply for a work permit, license, and options for a higher education.
While the majority of the public supports passing a DREAM Act and there was progression made in September for a vote on DACA in the spending bill, Trump announced that there will be no DACA without funding for a border wall attached and more border security.
Democrats are doing nothing for DACA - just interested in politics. DACA activists and Hispanics will go hard against Dems, will start “falling in love” with Republicans and their President! We are about RESULTS.

45 claims that the failure to compromise on a DACA falls on Democrats and accuses the lawmakers of being "just interested in politics."
According to CNN, today House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi, and other bipartisan congressional leaders will be meeting with Trump to discuss immigration policy further to avert a government shutdown.
