Do you love shopping and giving back to those in need? Well, Enrique Iglesias has you covered!
The Spanish heartthrob, who is currently touring North America with Pitbull, has once again teamed up with Save the Children to help children affected by the violence and poverty in Mexico. Iglesias is launching #Hearts4Kids, a T-shirt promotion, one of which was inspired by the heart the 42-year-old drew with his own blood following a hand injury with a drone during a concert in Tijuana.
Back in 2015, the “Subame la Radio” singer also worked with the organization to give a helping hand to kids in Mexico facing crises. "I'm extremely excited to partner with Save the Children to help kids who need it the most. My heart goes out to the kids around the world who have lived through a humanitarian crisis and have to rebuild their lives from scratch," the songwriter said in a statement two years ago. "As Save the Children knows from experience, recovering from the turmoil and loss caused by war or disaster can take years."
$11 from each T-shirt sale will go directly to the Save the Children's HEART program in Mexico. The non-profit helps children, who are experiencing chronic stress from poverty and other distressing events, learn how to use the arts, such as dance, drawing, other activities, to channel their feelings. The T-shirts are available now for purchase online at Enrique Iglesias' official merch site and at all U.S. concert venues from his tour.
